Other than Cailie Logue it doesn't look like much competition in 5000 so 16:00 might get 2nd. The mile is OSU and not much else. Big XII is not the strongest distance conference on W side. Still an easy 5000 and then 1 hour later a solid mile is something.
Right now, Roe sits at #15 on the list, but with Tyynismaa taken off, she is #14.
#16 Plourde (Utah), #17 Baran (Colorado), #18 Sargent (BYU), #25 Venters, #35 Halladay-Lowery (BYU) are all running the last chance meet at UW. All are within 7 seconds of Roe and they have the oversized 307m track to run on. Looks like Whittni Orton Morgan might be acting as pacer.

I know. I am rooting for Gregory to get in as well, but hope Roe can solidify her time. Hard to imagine the winner and a podium finisher from last year not making it in, even with an 8:56
Looks like the mile is a final only. So those guys will be fresh tonight for the DMR, likely they can coast that thing looking at the other line ups.
Love the old school Big 8 events with the 1k and 600yds. Gotta have some mid d runners to get this thing done. Such a guessing game but both genders seem to be spread decently in all of the events. Usually there is one with 9 runners in it
