It's looking like a high probability at this point. She's gone up another level this year and looks to likely run a 48 low in 400 and she's even better in hurdles...
Both SML and Bol should double and the schedule should be made easier for that. Stories = views and The sport grows
Yeah except that Sydney will blow her doors off twice and the story will be "Sydney becomes the face of US track and field". And that's when you guys will turn on her.

Have you looked at 2023 W.C. T&F event schedule? Why is it, in your opinion a high probability?

In my opinion they are evenly matched flat and even Femke rather would be faster. In hurdles it's as was written in the other thread, Bol is a way too tall and a bit too clumsy for them. SML has perfect height and physical coordination.
Dalilah also hurdles very smoothly.
But when Femke perfect her technique (14 strides, both legs) she should be able for sth. like 51 - 51.5

Dalilah actually has superior hurdling technique to Sydney. In fact, Bol has often said that Dalilah is the one she admires most and studies her technique.
In Tokyo, Dalilah discovered the track was so fast she could use 14 strides early in the race. She wasn't doing that previously. But Dalilah only used 14 through hurdle 3. If you look at the overhead view from in front, it looked like she had plenty of momentum to carry the 14 through hurdle 4. She had to shorten stride to switch to 15 on 4.
I'll always be convinced that if Dalilah had prepared to use 14 through 5 she would have won the gold medal ahead of Sydney. If she goes 14 on 4 then she has to use 14 on 5 also, because she wants to switch back to 15 on her preferred right lead.
There was so much commotion over Sydney's world record and her 14 steps through hurdle 7, nobody seemed to notice that Dalilah briefly applied 14 also.
