Then there was the defensive TD called back after the receiver caught and controlled the ball and turned with 2 feet on the ground. If that's not a fumble, then the ball-bobbling tight end wasn't in bounds later
This is why ball sports will always be a letdown. It is more is a contest of who convinces the referees to give them calls than a true athletic contest.
track and field is the only pure sport, everything else is just a game.
NFL blew that game with that slippery painted field. Was it intentional to limit defenses?
I don't get how the field could be so bad. The last two games played there were December 25 (Arizona Cardinals home game) and the NCAA Playoff Semifinal (Fiesta Bowl) on December 31. They have had 43 days to get the field ready.
1) Yes it's borderlne. But the Chiefs only had the ball 7 times and the refs missed a blatant PI on Philly on 3rd down in the first half. So the Chiefs deserved the benefit of the doubt here. Stop whining philly fans. Even if it's not called, Chiefs are still up 3 with 1:45 to go.
2) Eagles lost as the Siriani got scared. I thought he was the most philly guy ever - taunting, fist pumping, etc. But the dude was known for going for it all year and yet he punted the ball on 4th and 3. Yes I know every other coach in the league would punt but i wouldn't have.
---> KC (28) @ PHI (27) <--- PHI has 4th & 3 at the PHI 32
Recommendation (STRONG): 👉 Go for it (+4.6 WP) Actual play: 🏈🦵 A.Siposs punts 38 yards to KC 30, Center-R.Lovato. K.Toney pushed ob at PHI 5 for 65 yards (A.Siposs pic.twitter.com/qV1LJFnw6L

So 4th and 3 from your own 32 and you know you would NEVER hear the end of it if you go for it and fail to convert. But you would go for it? I guess if true you got some balls Rojo.

Seriously, talk about Turf Gate. Idk man just an overall fishy vibe. Which is sad considering both teams played a fantastic game.
It created some uncertainty for what would have normally been an easy field goal at the end, particularly since the kicker had missed a 42-yarder earlier.

Hard to disagree with you, but I think they got the call right according to the technical rules. It was at least consistent with the earlier sideline catch that they ruled incomplete.
Also think the holding was ticky-tack, and they could've let it go. But it probably did not affect the outcome of the game because KC was already in field goal range.
