The Washington record with a 4:34 anchor seemed pretty lackluster - And this is 10 seconds slower? Just lackluster all around.
You thinking that a national record-setting race is lackluster means that there is something wrong about your ability to objectively analyze races.
If a DMR includes a anchor leg of 4:34 - 10 seconds slower than what Tuhoy ran - it is not great. Like a men's relay anchoring with a 4:01. Just not that great.

Rhis DMR may not have individual event conflicts like some of the other fast ones have.

Well, with Tuohy ready for her 4:24, NC state may not even qualify. With all these sub 4 NCAA milers floating around (and Newbury Park) you'd think there would be a sub 16 4xmile, but no.
Easy to talk, respect to those that go out and do it.
In addition. George was solid in 1200, Jenderzek was insane at 400. Pittman at 800 was so fast and controlled. Barnett did what she does. Great overall team.
That's what happens when Mia Barnett transfers to your school
That's what happens when you get a legit coach.
Just a reminder for everyone to follow the LRC rules regarding criticism of Brosnan. Anything other than proclamations of greatness and giving Brosnan exclusive credit for any UCLA performances is strictly forbidden. Carry on with the thread.

You've got it backwards. Brosnan is Vin & Al Sal for the 2020s. Smith & Powell are up there too.
Brosnan pulling this out of the hat might be his greatest accomplishment. Say what you want he gets people to believe.
Believe in what?
I think he means he gets people to believe the results he's getting at UCLA are impressive in some way. UCLA hardly looks like a top tier distance program with this year's results, yet somehow people are impressed. He has zero chance of having any individual qualifiers for the NCAA championship and yet we all believe he's doing something impressive.
