Both at Stanford, although Juliette is a year older (or at least born a year earlier - 2003 to Willis 2004).

The Penn State women have been saying for the past year that they will break the 4x800 record.

Those aren't ideal splits either. In a better paced race she can run faster.

When American women start running 1:55-1:56 consistently, it will be "nuts" then. Until that day, just more 2 minute runners.

that's an insane time. if you have 3 with a running start, that's a 4x800 in around 8:09. I had a decent to good HS team and we'd typically be around that fast (although our 9 flat 3200 runner had no top speed - he couldn't break 2:00, while our fast miler never ran it to save his legs)

Stats Gangsta optimizer gives an optimal time of 1:58.05, but it's probably not as accurate for the 800

You have to be from below the Mason/Dixon Line. 8:09 is not even close to being a 'good' HS team or time. We're a Class AA in Illinois and 7:50 wouldn't crack our top 10..
