Wiley ran a 2:02.33 with no competition (second was 2:08.21) today on a 300m flat track. Now #2 in the mile and #5 in the 800 as a freshman. The future of American milers looks bright - and her name is ADDY WILEY!
But when Tuohy's name comes up, it is always about comparing her times to the top women when they were her age. Shouldn't we do the same with Wiley? That puts her way ahead of Henes.

I was skeptical but now I do believe she will be better than Tuohy. Tuohy can't come close to this time in an 800. The question is will Addy stick to the mile or eventually move up to 5k and 10k like Tuohy?

In the same race, Esther Seeland of Virginia, was 7th in 2:03.67. That is a bit off of her PR that she ran a few years ago at D3 Messiah where she only ran in the spring because she played soccer in the fall.
