No, it is not "time to worry" but...
I am curious if others are also feeling a strange sense of "unfounded worry" about Cole Hocker? He is one of my favorite runners. He is a multiple-time national champion, 3:50 miler, and managed a strong 6th at the Olympics. He can't actually be injured now because he just ran a 3000m in 7:51 (to win the race) and even finished last season with a 3:50 at the 5th Avenue Mile. There is no reason to worry, right?
If that is the case, why am I nervous about his coming year?
What does Hocker need to run this weekend to change the perception that something is up? And what time/outcome would be "good yet still worrisome" to you?
