Good to know on the BU meet. Fisher is ranked 3rd in the World at 10,000, he doesn't need to worry about the qualifying standard.

I’m not saying Fisher’s gonna run The Ten, but I don’t think running a fast 3k precludes running a great 10k 15 days later.

Pretty sure thats the Madrid meet the following week, I believe Jakob was announced for the 1,500 here.

But I don't know if he still plan to race these races after his sickness around new year. Indoor european championship in Istanbul is his first priority during winter / early spring.
And he never said he would go for the world record in the Madrid 3000m, the organizers did!

Fisher is doing the 3k in France. Heard he is in the 1500m in Spain, the 10k in California is highly unlikely.
Testing himself in Europe and having fun at those distances will be good for him then it’s all about the World Championships.
