Can we give Coach Austin Roark credit for changing the Huntington University Program? Could they win an indoor NAIA National Title?

1) No. Much too soon to give anyone any credit with that program in light of the developing stories about abuse that appears to continue to this day concerning HU athletes. Roark may even be an enabler (or complicit) when all is done and dusted.
2) Maybe? If they do it would be a shame.
Changing what? Haven’t they had a lot of success in the past few years on the track?
Yes. Yes.
He hasn't really done much. He had some transfers but nothing real impressive. I know he lost quite a few recruits ( my kid for one) because of the issues with the school. I can name 5 that will make an impact next year that are going elsewhere.
How has this program not gotten the death penalty yet?
LOL there is no way anything has changed here. Still have athletes transferring out.

This program has a long history of doing things the right way. Just because one incompent AD and horrible couple of coaches, shouldn't kill the program.
That said, Roark hasn't done anything except poach his former team of national champions. We will have to see if he goes back to doing things the right way (academics then character driven athletics), or if he goes the way of his former team Indiana Tech.
Hunting has
3 athletes poached from Indiana Tech, one apparently was kicked off their team. Anyone have info on why?
An athlete trained by the Johnson’s the coaches allow to do whatever she wants.
let addy leave and let’s see how the team does with it’s own athletes and we can start to judge the job roark does with the program.
I remember all those who were like, "Huntington's gotta shut down all their sports programs!!!!!"
They must feel like real morons now that their idiocy as been proven.

Not much of a training program. The only thing he did was pull a bunch of kids from Indiana Tech.

Total lie. Three female transfers from Cornerstone (where Neideck was the coach last season) and one female from Aquinas. One male from Cornerstone (again, following the coach).
But feel free to keep posting lies, "Bob."
I think the same towards most LR posters.
It's highly ironic how Bob posted right then, as if on cue.
I can't dismiss it as happenstance.
