Kudos to NB Boston Grand Prix Event

Recommend the Rail Stop restaurant down the street. Some Celtics were having lunch in the back when we met there.

I agree, the facility looked impressive (online view). However, one recommendation I have is for them to provide some bit of sound-barrier for the post-race interview area.

I thought it was better than any outdoor setup. Indoor track is just so much better for spectators than outdoor track.

Big negative though for the PA system. On the backstretch you couldn't make out what was being said.

Now just gives us the match ups we want -- the two best female 400 hurdlers were both at this meet but in different events. That happens way too often. Fans are going to show no matter what but it's the match ups that can help generate more interest/views/clicks.

Agreed. I was there, sitting close to the finish. Great atmosphere. Fine facility. Easy to get to without a car. The bends on the track seem really long.

I wish the NBIGP would improve their marketing in Boston. There was little public awareness of the event. It’s also disappointing that fields were only released days before competition. It would be nice if there was a roll down list based on SB or ranking pts of entries to allow the public and probably more importantly for the athletes to know their entry status. Sure, give Wetmore one or two special invites per event, but the rest should be all on merit, especially in an important WA ranking meet. Transparency and the development of a narrative is super important for this sport to grow.

The NBC Commentators kept talking about the crowd size. That was great seeing a meet with a full house.
