And neither one of those can be attributed to the president. Inflation is also a lagging statistic, so you if you are hanging your hat on that stat, thats on trump. But its really on covid anyway. So grow up.

Its funny, if you are over maybe 30 or 40 y/o you will recall that for every person running for Mayor, Governor, or President...the number one issue and the number one promise by all those politicians was that they would create some jobs. There were no jobs. Jobs jobs jobs. I will be the jobs mayor! Now we live in this bizarro world where we have limitless jobs available from mcdonalds to trades to shortage of doctors, nurse, teachers...you name it. And nobody talks about that. Is Biden the greatest jobs president in history?

The president doesnt really affect much unless he is completely helpless and makes up insulting nicknames for everyone, like trump. Aside from him, most presidents dont affect gas prices, inflation, recession much. If you really wanted to put every calamity on the guy who currently resides in the oval office, republicans would be a disaster. Every depression and recession happened on their watch. Nobody even talked about "gas prices" until Bush 2 when they went up 300%. But we know its way more complicated than that. But lets at least admit we need a president that plays well with other adults? Obama, and now Biden, have had to spend as much time apologizing and getting back in the good graces of the western worlds leaders as they do making policy. Trump destroyed the infrastructure at the border, now Biden has to rebuild from ground up. But that's his fault? McConnel and trump packed the courts with judges that dont represent the vast majority of americans views. That's not representative govt. Anyone who tries to work together has been villainized by the machine. Whether it be Jimmy Carter or even Arnie in California, you dont get rewarded for playing together for the common good. Biden is trying to be that guy, and is going to pay the price.

PERA sent out their annual report today. Not sure how much more Bidenomics it can handle. Started the year with 65.6 Billion. Ended the year with 55.4 Billion in spite of taking in 4 Billion in contributions.

This is what happens when cost of living is so bad people are forced to pick up 2nd jobs. Couple this with employing loads of new government jobs (see IRS), which actually leaches on our economy. Then, let's also factor in giving 200k+ illegal Venezuelans work authorization after they crossed the open border the Biden Admin has orchestrated (literally sabotaging progress Trump was making on the wall by selling pieces of it, ordering states to take down temp walls, etc.). That wall isn't so funny anymore is it? These immigrants are exhausting tax payer money and benefits. We are pouring money into Ukraine but can't event protect our own border or provide support for disasters like the one in Hawaii, its pathetic. This whole administration is built on censorship, deceit, and manipulation.

They bait voters with policy that sounds attractive on paper, then if they can't get the policy to be passed, they pin hate on the GOP. So either way it's a win/win for them and a lose/lose for the American people. For instance, sweeping and unlawful student loan forgiveness baits young voters, but during a time where inflation is suffocating the country, it's a ridiculous policy. So they get young voters by instilling hope, and if it is shot down, they get to pin hate on the republicans. If it gets passed, they are happy, but longterm and overall it hurts America.

The democrats have been a party for the elite, and the impact of this can be seen in many of the once great democratic cities. Many of these are in disorder, despite having such strong economies (see San Francisco, New York, etc). I think if you are not out of touch with reality (i.e. making <100k per year, or around people that do), you would understand that living in the US is much harder than it was 2-3 years ago.
