Why do choose to be inflammatory with your thread title? You know very well that tuohy is not everyone’s favorite, which is fine with most people, except for inflammatory trolls such as yourself, who take it personally when they don’t put tuohy on a pedestal.
I think you’re being a bit too sensitive; he may have been being tongue-in-cheek. I’m just glad to be alerted to some of the entries in this meet.
Sage Hurta-Klecker should be able to get the 1K AR (2:34.19) if she’s fit. Gorriaran should be able to better Whittaker’s HS record (2:39.41) in the same race.
With the caliber of the pros in the women’s mile, it seems likely this is a better chance for Tuohy to run a fast time than Camel City. Is Alicia Monson the favorite?—or someone who’s more of a miler by trade, like Norris or Schlactenhaufen? It’ll be interesting to see where Wayment’s at right now, too.
Not sure why some dislike this post. Agree with jwh this is probably a better opportunity for Tuohy as well and I bet eliminates the back to back race weeks. Another trip back home to where she ran so many hs races too.

Think they’ll pull her out of Camel City? Or she’ll run ‘em both?

I would say probably Norris, she has run 3:59. But, she just switched teams to OAC, so depends where she is at in adjusting to new training, Boulder etc.

she ran that over a year and a half ago and never came close since. She’s lucky she’s even entered in this race. One hit wonder

I bet they pull her out.
I’m gonna stick with my thoughts that I originally had stated on the Camel City thread. I believe she’ll go out fairly comfortably in 4:10 for 1500m. Then, closing in 16 seconds for the final stretch, for a 4:26.0. #2 all-time NCAA. Nice 2023 opener.

Yeah, she only ran faster than Tuohy’s 1500 PR eight times in 2022, including once en route to a 4:20.8i mile. No idea how she got in this race.

Geez why all the negativity. She's running in the race and the question was who might win. If you think someone else will then post who and your reasons.

I'd like an indicator that Wayment's on course for a summer tour of Subnineistan.
Tuohy v. Vissa, at last!
I can't name the favourite, but this might be Whittni Morgan's day. Could her best event be the 1500?
Monson & McCabe’s respective mile bests (4:38.14 & 4:38.99) will be--as Solinsky remarked about Valby’s current 5000 PB--a thing of the past.
