Why have a seperate focus on African American studies? 🤔 American history should include African American studies.

The great irony here is that an individual is more likely to get a job as a DEI official than as an actual history professor at many colleges and universities.

When i went to school it was AP US History, AP Calc, AP English, AP Spanish, AP French.

AP African American studies belongs nowhere near the above core curriculum advanced placement courses.
