She did but she only ran one 600m in college. The record was obviously weak, but it's a sign that Wilson is in good shape.

As I watched it live I could not figure out if Little ran the race in lane 2 to pace Wilson, or if she just ran a bad race.

Christopher Bailey 1:15.18 on men side is also pretty decent (world all time top 10)

It looked to me like Little was trying to get to the front but Wilson held her off just enough to prevent her from being able to safely drop to lane 1. At that point, Little was moving at the pace she wanted to run and did not want to speed up or slow down, so she just settled for running a little further out than ideal. Then Wilson moved ahead for a bit before Little outkicked her at the end.
