I’m interested in seeing how Devin Dixon goes in the 600. Seemed like a guy with incredible upside, with 45.22/1:44.76 PBs at age 21, but he’s gone nowhere the last few years.
High school stud Tyrone Gorze is in the 3k; he ran 8:11 at this meet a year ago and could come close to 8:00 (sub-8 is probably too much to expect).
Sam Prakel ran a 13:15 PR a month ago and will be tough to beat in the 3k; he ran 7:46 here last year and PRed at 1500 in July (3:34.9).
And yes, the men’s mile and collegiate track debuts of R. Willis and J. Whittaker will be highlights.
Curious about DeLay's 3000 and mile times. 16:04 (at BU last month) doesn't really get it done. Maybe the lack of XC fitness explains it. Was that 9:25 SC in Eugene last June an anomaly or can she return to sub-9:30 form this Summer?

I could see Gorze running under 8. He's made tremendous improvement during the last year.

Never been to Dempsey before but I’ll have to come more often. Can’t believe more people don’t show up. Literally feet away from Olympian’s and National Champions. Great atmosphere.

What's going on with the UAC women at this meet? 4:43/4:44 in the mile and 2:51/3:01 in the km. Thought maybe they were running for certain splits as a workout when I saw the results but watching the races they were trying hard but just didn't have the gas. Those aren't good college times, let alone pro times.
