We already have some sort of idea. She ran 52:16 to finish right behind Nell Rojas at the 2021 Cherry Blossom 10-mile 14 months ago. Equivalent to a 1:09:41/2:25:57 according to VDOT.

Is 168 hours "a few?"

J B S is not a strength based runner as you state. J B S is a Classic 1500m one miler. J B S is best at 1500m & one mile. She is slightly worse at 800m and slightly worse at 5000m relative to her peers. M Farah would fit your definition of a strength based 1500m runner. M Farah's 1500m was his best event by time but M Farah as a guy incapable of sub-49 f.a.t. 400m needed to race longer events.

I have no doubt Jenny will be succesdull at the marathon and I define successful as a le to finish, un injured, in under 3 hours.

Is she growing a beard and moving to a cabin in the woods?

1. It did not burn; it somehow miraculously survived the fires. 2. It certainly is not a "mansion." I believe it is a former small school from many years ago when the population was pretty low in that area. Expensive - $2.5 million, but I wouldn't consider 3700 square feet a "mansion."

Oh yah. She was a firefighter post-track career, not an attorney. She hails from Florida, so that detail tracks.

It'll be fun to watch. I'm old enough to remember when elite track runners were first moving to the marathon- guys like Rod Dixon who were known as 1500/5000 runners moving up.

She is a miler but can still do ok.

I think it all depends on how seriously Jenny goes for it on the roads vs it being a question of talent.

Marla Runyon ran 2:27:10 in New York and Jenny is without a doubt more talented / has super shoes. She can break 2:26 if she wants.

Genzabe Dibaba was also a 1500m runner - her debut was okay. Expect Jenny to run a similar time?

Remember that time she was critical of NOP athletes yet claimed medical privacy about disclosing her treatment from Dr Brown?
