Entries for the US XC Champs coming in. Some nice notables and interesting entries:
Men: Sam Chelanga, Colley has been running well, Erassa, the Bors, Eidenschink who trains with the OAC guys, Isai Rodriguez from OSU coming back after NCAAs, Jared Ward
Women: Buchalski, Kelati, Ostrander hopefully coming back, Laura Thweatt, Bethany Hasz who just won Club XC
Baloga and Shea entered - 1,2 at champs/footlocker should form a good base for the womens U20 squad. I would think every top 10 runner from champs and nxn would want this perhaps once in a lifetime type opportunity

He running Houston half, mayne. Junk’s like seven days before XC champs.
Alright that's fair. I wish he was in it though. Would be cool to see Galen also. I just want the race to be stacked because the USA definitely has the talent to make this a way more exciting race.
No offence to the athletes that have entered (in fact, kudos to them) but this looks like a US "C" Team.
Every other country in the world takes World XC seriously, so what the hell is wrong with you guys?
It seems as though your top athletes will only race in watered down races, where every variable is controlled, conditions are absolutely ideal and a cavalcade of pacemakers are lined up behind pace lights - barring that, a jog until a last lap sprint.
It does come across as a little soft. There seems to be no willingness to race man-to-man (or woman to woman) and to get a real measure of how one stacks up against the world's best, with all of the manipulated conditions set aside.

If I win the Billion Dollar Powerball Tuesday in two years (the next worlds year) I'm going to make sure the best of our runners run this race.
I get it that the pros need the money. So I'll give them an appearance fee worthy of them showing up here ready to race.

Looks Irene Riggs is now listed, we now have all the top highschoolers for U20 women. Should be a good champs/footlocker vs nxn champs showdown.

Well after seeing how they performed at Aarhus...well they will finish in the 9-11th place in teams. Disappointing.
