80+ minutes of one mute person just running down a road. No dialog, no narration, no data graphics, not even a noteworthy athlete. People actually spent over an hour of their lives sitting through watching this?

You really have a problem with this?
Aerobic ASMR.
Put away your ear plugs and your heart rate monitors. Feel the rhythm of motion, and the wind in your face. That video captures the essence of running.
Well done Tracksmith.
I think the point is that they are nobody, and there's nothing wrong with that,
the pace doesn't matter, the distance doesn't matter.
What matters is that they are out there running instead of complaining on a message board.

So it's a very long Sweat Elite video just without all the boring questions. Sounds good!

I remember her. She is the one who ran the NYC marathon in nursing scrubs. What an amazing run course. If I still lived in CO I would drive up there just to do that road. Too bad I'm in GA now.

But if we're supposed to be out running, why would we watch this 80 minute video? Is it inspirational? What about it makes it worth that much of anyone's time? It is a commercial after all. The folks that paid for the video's creation are trying to get the public to buy their products.
That's the point. Nothing more, nothing less.
There's even a potty break at 43 minutes. Amazing.

Got back from a 26K long run this Sunday, zoned out to this afterwards. Very relaxing.
She has run sub-2:30 and wore a USA jersey at the Pan Am games. I feel like that gets overshadowed by the scrubs run.
OP, it seems you're one of the many who watched it and the only one who came here to plug it. You actually posted a link. You are doing more to popularize it than even Tracksmith.
Didn't watch the entire thing, but kudos if she did 80min at 8700' with no hydration or bathroom breaks.
What's the road? Anyone know?
