A Philadelphia nurse plans to run the Boston Marathon in her scrubs to raise awareness and money to support the mental wellbeing of pandemic-weary nurses.
She was very humble in the Good Day Philadelphia interview she did today. Undersold herself as simply having run since the 7th grade. Not until I read the article about her on Runner's World did I know that she has a sub 2:30 PR and represented the USA in the Pan Am Games.
Former section 2 athlete, where she raced in HS, she is a legend around here. One of the best female runners to come from section 2, perhaps the best marathon runner to come from section 2 in recent years. One of the most humble people I ever meet. She is was injured for the trials and didn’t want to risk anything, she didn’t want do the race just to say she ran in the trials. I know of far to many athletes that have races the trials because it’s the trials and they want everyone to know they ran them even it means getting hurt in the process.
A Saratoga grad who wsa trained by the Kranicks, I believe.
Nope she ran for nearby rival Burnt Hills when they had a very good squad and went to NXN. She went to providence during the “NYS all star” era of that program with Hannah Davidson (Saratoga), Shelby creamy and mary Kate champagne
Boston is no longer a noble event to participate in for any cause. Boston now discriminates against people for medical choices, and for the country they are from. This kind of divisiveness and hate the race promotes is certainly terrible for anyone's 'mental health.'
And to the big pharma shills licking their chops to shill; I've seen firsthand what this 'vaccine' did to someone I love. Any institution trying to force it on people is pushing evil in my eyes, and that includes the BAA.
