Lately, UCLA has already landed two transfers in the portal via Mia Barnett and Sam McDonnell (former Newbury Park runner for Brosnan). They are not done however, as they are trying to take a crack at getting Parker Valby as well. We all know Valby may leave Florida for Oregon after this semester but UCLA wants a shot at her too.
Valby will not transfer. Barnett's transfer was her decision, so did Sam's decision. Valby stays in Florida, just wait for the new coach announcement!

Yes, there are beneficial (to running performance) epigenetic expressions from training in the heat and humidity. But per an old British Miler’s publication, folks at altitude have thinner walled air-sacs. If Brosnan puts together a permanent altitude training camp, she should then really consider it.
Valby is most likely going to review the elevation in her decision. An intelligent runner that's trying to get better especially trying to eleviate her tangents as a variable. She may stay put if she thinks the elevations are going to set her back.

It was laughable how Brosnan and his fan club thought he knew more than all the high school coaches. I’m not sure what to call it that they think he knows more than all the NCAA coaches as well.
She should go to NAU. Mike Smith will set her straight. Transition from part-time to a full-time runner at altitude is her recipe for multiple collegiate records and individual championships.
