I here you bruiser, at least in the short term. I am certainly not recommending one to keep all of his wealth tied up in land and gold. Certainly there are more liquid alternatives to acheiving wealth. What I am really saying however, is that at the end of the day, when our fiat money system has run it's course, gold and land (well, other precious metals and resources too) will be the only assets of any real value.
Call me a doom and gloomer, but you can only fool the people some of the time.... well, at least for several hundred years, or more. What good is "money" (paper) if not for the acquistion of assets?
