If Valby does transfer, she may want to wait til June, as FL has a good chance to win both indoor and outdoor track champs. Even if she plateaued where she is now, she could be top3 in indoor 3k/5k and outdoor 10k/5k. That's 14 or so team points.
Academically with covid, she may be close to her ba, so she could possibly be a grad transfer.

Wouldn’t that be something if Sean Brosnan applied, to build a team around Valby, and he got the job?!
And then lured 800m runner Aaron Sahlman, with that new indoor track nearby?

Your statement above makes no sense, in that she could transfer immediately if she chose to, and would probably get a lot of coaches’ interest if she did.

She has at least 2 full years of running eligibility after 22/23, but she may be able to finish her undergrad degree this spring (summer). Given that the Valbymaniacs claim UF is Harvard of the South and she has Florida roots, it may be useful for her to complete her undergrad at Florida and then transfer for next fall into a master's program.
