Swimmers most chad -> cyclists -> runners most cringe
The only correct answer really. To add even more specificity: sprint swimmers -> mtb’ers -> track distance runners
Not enough categories, not sure about swimming, but for running and cycling:
Mountain trail runners -> road/track runners. Stereotyping a little here, but one is like "let's run up to the top of that mountain, explore this trail over here and have a beer afterwards" vs if "I don't do my easy runs exactly at 6:30 pace my dad will never love me and oh God I'm 5 seconds off my prescribed pace for my interval workout I better not eat till I lose 5 ibs"

Agreed. I can’t think of a single Chad runner.
Chad Hall is the most Chad runner of all-time. Not to mention he is an absolute beast on the bike. And he grew up minutes from a lake so chances are he can get around ok in the water too.
But what I want to know is who is the most dank? And whose bit is most likely to cause other athletes to dip? Do cyclocross runners who do orienteering and hash-running rank as "full Brody" or are they basic Chads too? What if a hot Karen and a Stacie both race triathlons, who is the most fetch?
Check Urban Dictionary for a more thorough definition, but Chad is basically a slang term for a hyper masculine alpha man that other men want to be and women want to be with.

having spent some time in all three sectors, I'd say that cyclists (i was on the road and dabbled in some gravel) have the biggest egos. The "I'm too cool" attitude is fairly common, and the whole culture is rather clique-ish. I was well liked because I was a filthy climber but it was easy to see that if you weren't as talented or did not have an extra $3k to dish out on a new set of race wheels then you just weren't as cool or worthy of talking to. I thought the culture was less inviting than running or swimming. Running attitude depends on the level and setting. The culture at a big marathon road race is great, the culture at a D1 mid major is more of a hit or miss due to lots of people thinking they are cooler than they are.
I reckon I just am generally not a fan of big egos in sport. I find it cringe when someone places their identity in a sport and treats people differently because of it.
Male athletes will be allowed to compete in Olympic Artistic Swimming events for the first time at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the aquatic sports' global governing body FINA said on Thursday.
