What grade would you give Carrol and why ?

I'd say F for the first half and B+ for the second half.
Not Pete's fault with the sheeit team he inherited and the pussy town he coaches in.

The town has nothing to do with it....in fact, the town is a benefit. Seattle folks are some of the most loyal sports fans out there.
The Seahawks made history this year, going 7-9 and still winning the division and beating the defending Super Bowl Champs in a playoff. They were simply beaten by a better team on Sunday.
The Seahawks had a successful year, and they can use this year as a springboard for further success by keeping the team in tact and just continuing to work on things. They should try to draft linebacker Dontay Moch from NEVADA.
They played like an 8-10 team, which they are, against an average NFL team, which the Bears are.
An average team that's playing in the NFC Championship game.

You have an interesting perception of "history".
A shit team in a shit division backs into the playoffs, gets lucky in a home game they didn't deserve, and you call that history?

How does the NFL's parity schedule work? Will they get a schedule of a sub-.500 team or the schedule of a divisional champ? If they get to playa bunch of losers again, who knows. At least they know they have six softballs next year for certain.

Yes. VERY average. They would be somewhere around 8th or 10th in the AFC on par with Jacksonville, but nowhere near playoffs. With that being said, they are in it and anything can happen in the next game, or two.
Bears record vs. AFC teams: 3-1 (including a win vs. an AFC Championship Game team)
I give him an F for kicking a useless field goal when down 28 points midway through the 3rd quarter.

Funny how the average teams are still playing, compared to the juggernaut in New England, that is not.
Would you rather be on a team that is playing this weekend, or one that talks out of its ass and is watching on TV?
That's why they play the games asshat and the "best teams on paper" only compete in fantasy games and the brains of dopes like you.
Roll out your stats and strength of schedule arguments all you want, but you alleged better teams will be watching from their couch this weekend, just like you.
Uhhhhhh, NE is in the AFC, but great rant.

And the team they lost to, routed the Jets too and everyone anointed them champions.
Tell me, is that team playing home or away this weekend?
Regular season stats mean nothing in the post season.
All you need to do is qualify, the best teams will rise to the top.
I didn't know Swarthmore competed last night.

his•to•ry

1. the branch of knowledge dealing with past events.
Doesn't have to be anything special or amazing....history is history no matter what happened. The point being it happened...thus it is history. (Whether you like it or not clown!!)
Great, so every time I fart I can run around saying "I made history!!".
An A for firing Jeremy Bates today.
No one will give the Bears credit this year, don't worry about it. They could win the Super Bowl and there would still be morons going on about how they are an average team that just happened to get lucky or something.

The Bears ARE average, and Jay Cutler (aka Jeff George II) is the main reason why the Packers will take them to the wood shed.
