I think it's a bad idea, primarily because if you analyze the respective harms comprehensively, Native Americans deserve reparations far more than blacks.

Native Americans do deserve reparations. So do the illegal aliens working the CA fields. So do all the small nations that were enslaved by the Ottomans. So do Africans from other Africans who enslaved them.

The Brits don't. They are still proud of their royals (so very gracious) and they had nothing to do with slavery. But let's have the descendants of Poles or Latvians or Croats pay. Why? Because they happen to be white and they don't have a voice.
