Respectfully, this podcast isn’t about Aaron Salhman. We discuss the teams accomplishments (Aaron being apart of that) and what they’ve meant to Lex and Leo.
if you would like me to do a podcast with Aaron, I’d be more than willing to.

Definitely would love to see that
Consider it done 🤝 I have podcasts scheduled with Kole Matihson and Irene Riggs as well that will be in the upcoming weeks

But it was a HUGE story. As a journalist, you should have addressed it. Were you scared to bring it up?
my teammate wins a national championship and I'm doing an interview for the local paper, I acknowledge it and expect the journalist to ask me about it - I would expect the same on a podcast that last longer than the 5 min interview the local paper would do with me. It is very weird to not even talk about it.

I got a feeling it was probably agreed to beforehand not to discuss the events that occurred during NXN.
At this point that's about all I want to know about. It's obvious that there was trouble in paradise. Let's hear everyone's side of the story finally.

Apart or a part? I was under the impression he was still a part of the team rather than apart from it.

Again, the podcast wasn't about Aaron Salhman. I have a limit slot with Lex and Leo when we record and want to maximize the time I have with them. Could I have asked, "How cool was it to see Aaron win?" Most definitely! But I decided to maximize the time discussing events that directly affected them.
I will for sure get Aaron on the podcast and talk about his win and the journey to get there. I have nothing against Aaron; his race just didn't happen to get brought up. Maybe was a poor job of interviewing or was just me sticking to the script, up to you to decide.

I will address it... in a podcast with Aaron himself

You’re lying to yourself if you don’t think you did a poor job. To ignore such a huge story from the race you were talking about involving the people you were talking to was a tragic mistake as a journalist.

Your humility is commendable. The thing is, L & L have said NOTHING public about Aaron's win, and your podcast skirted around the issue. It's likely a sore point for the twins, and even if they are all on good terms they probably feel like they deserved it much more than Aaron after being clearly the better XC for over a year.
