I refuse to believe it actually will stop working on January 1.
When I use it now, it does say "Unavaialble as of 1/1/2023 but then below it says "Support for Dark Sky" will be ending. I don't need support. I just need Dark Sky.
If it does stop working on January 1, maybe this will be the impetus I need to sell my iphone and get something not made in China like I've been vowing for the last few months. Samsung/Google here we come? Lightphone here we come?

Unless you are planning on building your own from scratch, all commercial phones have a majority of parts made in China.

As a professional meteorologist, the best app by and far is windy. If you get a premium subscription ($1.6 per month), you get access to more weather data than you can imagine. You can also just use the free services and still outclass 99% of other weather websites.

Just use Accuweather or the Weather Channel App. Fox Weather is good too.
and as the other person said above, it’s the best thing out there, by far. The free version is incredible. And what you can do if you want to get really granular by location is remarkable. We use it for all our remote backcountry stuff here in AK. I can import a GPS route into it and the data available is just awesome.
