I don't buy this, and I feel that this thread should just be put to rest at this point: if someone gets banned then they get banned but there's no point in useless conjecture at the expense of people's reputations.

Just coming back to say that there are no SRR implications whatsoever and I completely made that up to see how quickly people on this forum will believe anything. Having already seen some tweets about this I am quite sad at the state of skepticism in this community to the point where an anonymous user can say literally anything and it will get traction.

Actually if you follow your post and the subsequent replies, there really was little traction and commentary on this forum, so I think your premise is incorrect. Don't care about twitter.
