Boys - I have Newbury Park, San Clemente and Granada qualifying

Girls - I have Buchanan, Los Altos and JSerra qualifying

I do think there will be an at-large team on both sides

Does anyone know if Sadie Engelhardt is running NXN, or Footlocker/Champs, or both?

There is still time to finish signing up

The West Qualifier for Champs/Eastbay is the same day as NXN (Dec 3), so I don’t believe it’s possible to run both

Buchanan girls

Milesplit lists Mendyk in the top 7 for 3 mile and 5k teams but she isn’t on the start list. is she injured? why aren’t they running their true top 7?

Could be injured. She hasn’t raced since nov 10

Without her they won’t win nationals. Doesn’t matter because Saratoga NY’s top 5 are very close and very good based on SRs, and so much of that top 5 was on the NXN winning squad in 2019. They kind of do have a good #6 too. She is an 8th grader who ran a 5:05 in the 1500

I wonder if Buchanan will ever win NXN. They could win it in 2 years. They have 2 freshmen, 2 sophs, 0 juniors on varsity

Saratoga is gonna take heavy hits after class of 2024 graduates. They are gonna be really good next year too, they only lose the wheeler twins

Entries are here. I don’t know if they are even finalized. NP is actually missing Cantu and Shetty from these. But that’s because neither ran at section finals

Buchanan was missing Mendyk but they still put 7 in. I think they can still qualify for NXN without her

I agree. Odd that the 7th runner in the entries is so far behind Mendyk in PRs.

they will be hard pressed to place at NXN. They have struggled to be full strength all season.

Even with the full lineup, Buchanan won’t beat Saratoga if their 1-6 are on.

For Trabuco Hills the entries list does show a substitution. Griggs is entered here but did not race at section finals.

Wonder if Lennox from Great Oak will be racing tomorrow

What do you guys think of Jason Parra’s chances of making NXN?

After 13min10 of running at section final, Doshi was 6th, ahead of Grossman and a couple of steps behind Seymour.

However, Grossman finished 5th in 14:58 and Doshi ended up running 15:24 and coming 13th. Why is Doshi finishing his races so slowly? You are talking about less than 1min50s left in the race. How do you lose 27s in the span of 1min48?

Hope that get fixed tomorrow or before NXN.

I think this year there will be a big 4-5 gap for np at nats like last year

In an L / L video, Doshi and Cantu are together in workouts. Brayden is with their 1-3 at workouts

Was Doshi injured this year? He ran 15:00.1 last year at Mt Sac, which is faster than what Seymour ran. This year Doshi only ran 15:24.

Cantu ran 15:34 on the same course this year, which is not that much slower.
