Always happens come January 1st. But you can typically know these in advance due to people not living/training in Portland already.
So does anyone know of some Bowerman people who haven't been in Portland the past couple months?
Going purely off Instagram:
Marc Scott is still in the UK. Matt Centrowitz is everywhere in the USA but Eugene. Andrea Seccafien is still in Australia.
All three potentially explainable - all could just be returning to the group for their first altitude camp like Lopez Lomong has done for the past few years (fall abroad but back for January camp).
Still waiting for a journalist to ask them if the details from that Kronkite news article are accurate and if so why they were okay with it.

No one from Bowerman has been around Portland/Beaverton lately because the team moved operations to Eugene. The coaching staff all are on the U of O payroll now and Bowerman athletes have been posting pictures from the campus. Centro has announced that he is being coached by Diljeet Taylor. Like Emily Infeld, he will be wearing Nike gear but will no longer be in the red and black of BTC.
We'll see who is around in early 2023. They might lose a few athletes that didn't want to move or share their coach with a college program. Kincaid is probably safe. Scott, Tuntivate, Thompson, and Radcliffe may not be back. Saccafein may move on and Fraser already left on her own terms. The wildcard might be Frerichs. She put down roots and bought a house in Beaverton. She had a bad 2022 due to Celiac's and could desire a change.

Not announced yet, but upcoming. Not to Taylor though (obviously)
Are you sure about this? I remember something about her moving to San Francisco or something but I think she is still part of BTC, training remotely but still representing BTC. Am I wrong about this?
I would have thought more members of BTC would have already bought homes in Beaverton/Portland. It would have been the smart move with all that Nike money.

Didn’t think there was anything to this but did some IG sleuthing and Centro is def at BYU per his story. Also he tagged some “ professional pacer” that has a few tagged pics of Centro on his IG page and the guy clearly works for BYU/Taylor made. So maybe Centro really is with Taylor ?

I don't think Frerichs will leave before the end of 2024. She's been with BTC since starting her pro career in 2016. 2022 was her first bad year as a pro, and even then I personally felt like 6th at worlds was an amazing result considering how she looked in early June. I'd be surprised if one rough season that was caused by factors out of Schumacher's control was enough to make her want to get out.
