A phenomenal talent from the start with an efficient natural running form and a competitive drive unlike any other. Tuohy admits she hates losing and her Coach said that she is " best at fixing things that aren't going in her way.. "
So how do you beat a runner like Tuohy?

By being faster, stronger and grittier than her. No one on the college level fits that description.

How can she beat the pros if she isn't even in the pro ranks yet, she is 20 y.o. This is a college running thread.

Does Katelyn Tuohy have like multiple of herself out there? Like is there an army of Katelyn Tuohys that runners have to deal with at various races? Like darn it, one of those Katelyn Tuohys just signed up for my turkey trot, thought I was gonna podium.
I would hypothesize that if you can beat a Katelyn Tuohy, then the original copy will weaken and become a bit more beatable. So good thread, let's see what LRC comes up with and we can work together to take on these Katelyns to maybe give the rest of the NCAA a chance....
You clone Katelyn Tuohy
You have the type of talent she has and you work on consistency in training and race tactics. Chmiel and valby both have dealt with injuries this year. Valby is incredibly tough (how she responded when out kicked by tuohy in Cross and outdoor. 5k were both incredibly impressive and shows she has the killer instinct. She needs to stay healthy, build strength, and learn how to be less predictable.
Run like Roe did in the 3000. Run like Valby did, but run the tangents.

Yes as a college runner who had ran three seasons straight versus professional runners who only trained and peaked for that specific race. That race was months ago and it doesn't mean much, as I said, she is a college runner.
