suggestion: guy puts on an ultramarathon going from the OKC airport to Stillwater.

I wish my son could do cool stuff like that.
That would have saved Rojo $50.
Like this guy?
. This is a pretty bad idea. I would hate to do something like this, but it appears that he has permission and they don’t seem to be running up on people, especially since most people are lazily sitting on their rears, so I am not surprised that no one reported them. They hardly had to run around people. This would be a sad place to run even if it was bad conditions outside. I would hate running there everyday.
😂
They should have a marathon course marked out on the runways, and let the planes take off and land as usual as they are running, for an element of danger and surprise.
This would also be a good thing to integrate into the Indianopolis 500
More of social media look at me I am so special fake viral.
That video was fun and creative. Well done and something a bit different!
Wow. Let’s start an identical thread as last week.
This is great. Well done, lads!
Room temp is pretty hot for a thon though!
I've seen a few pro teams in airports from soccer "ahem" football to hockey teams. Sometimes they're horsing around and wearing sports gear. No one really cares.
Like the rest of society. There are more businessmen rushing to get drunk at the lounge, tripping over your unimportant kid, than there are ppl goofing around.
Wasn't a thon though, despite what the video title says. Other than that it was a kind of interesting idea.
There was a race in Dallas called the 5K On The Runway, hosted at Dallas Love Field airport. I got to run it a few years back. It was early on a Saturday morning and they closed down one runway for the course, the rest of the airport was actually fully operational during the race with planes landing and taking off. It was just an out and back up the runway & back, probably 400 or so runners. Smelled like jet fuel and was excessively windy but pretty surreal to run on a real airport runway.
Until every one of you cretins on LetsRun have watched these 8 minutes of absurd, preposterous, ludicrous, implausible greatness, I will not rest!
Bloody brilliant I say, bloody brilliant!
Yeah, assuming the distance was accurate, that's an impressive performance considering it's indoors and all the weaving around traffic.
I would think distance was off by quite a bit, tho hardly the focus of this insanely entertaining event.
