I'm a junior distance guy. Ran 16:37 5k this year, 4:42 mile last year, and 10:1* last year.
Recently, I ran a 200m rep as part of a ladder workout & got a 31. I ran my ass off to do that, and it feels so diminishing to know that translates to 2:04 pace. I know this is just practice, but I'm worried my lack of speed is going to limit my progression in the 800m. For added context, I can barely break 1 minute in the 400m (even in a 400m race). Thoughts on this?
