It is also the longest period ever between a Trials marathon and the Olympic Games marathon. Details regarding television and prize money will be released at a later date.
Exactly. I live in Chattanooga and its hilly. I don’t understand why USATF is making the mistake again. Atl was hilly, japan was not. Paris is hilly, Orlando is not.
Great news for me, I’m 90 minutes West of Orlando. Would love to go spectate.
Accommodations are abundant and affordable as long as you don’t stay in Disney. Even the Ritz Carlton can be as low as $300 per night.
Orlando does have some rolling hills depending where they set up the course, but nothing where you are going to get a couple hundred feet elevation in a mile.
Weather should be great, although even if February, you can get a front with warmer morning temps and humidity.
Having trouble with the quote function, but the statement's line about this being the longest period between a Trials marathon and the Olympic marathon can't be right, can it? The trials race for 2008 was in November 2007. Or am I reading this wrong?
