Yes, a lot of people will try to shame you, especially in today's political climate. There's nothing wrong with it and traditionally older more established men are better positioned to have a match like this. But it makes the single 30 something women mad and it makes the guys who married the first kinda cute girl who returned their texts in their 20s, but became the 5' 4", 180 lb tyrant of Target really, really angry. Don't be surprised if people say mean and nasty things behind your backs or even straight up try to sabotage the relationship.

Financially and legally, there's more risk if you get married as she likely has accrued less material wealth than you. The benefit of marrying a similarly situated women is that you both have a figurative loaded gun pointed at the other person's head.

Of course not. It's very common. Why even ask the question? 9 years between adults is no big deal. My wife is only 1 year younger than me, but my parents had a 7 year age gap. I have friends with over 10 year age gap, happily married for decades. It's completely normal. More than that is starting to push limits though.

Oh trust me I've seen weirder. A lot weirder. Hugh Hefner type stuff. Your case is amateur hour in comparison.

I’m 45 and my wife just turned 29. We started dating when I was 40 and she was 24. We have 2 amazing kids and she is an amazing step mom to my older 2. We met on Bumble. Not a lot of options to meet people as a single dad of 2 in the burbs. After my wife passed I wasn’t looking to get remarried, which is one reason I had a low number for my preferred age range. Go figure I found another amazing woman.

Sorry, meant to add. No one notices and no one cares. And if they so they keep it to themselves, which is what they should do.

Let me ask more fundamental question: who cares what anyone thinks? There’s a shortage of joy and peace in the world. Especially when it comes to married relationships. I hope things work out between the two of you if it’s for the best. As far as the age thing goes, don’t let that stop you. Plenty of women marry men older than them.

Hahahahaa. Everyone is going to think you’re the dad. Soon you won’t be able to get it up anymore so that’s when this will come crumbling down. In another year or so you’ll get tired at 8 pm and she’s going to regret wasting her time. Then she’ll disappear on a girls only trip, only to hook up with someone like the NY Jets QB. You know , someone her age. After pumping yourself full of Viagra then your heart problems will start. You suck, you’re old, and you’re a creep. Women your own age must think you’re a dikk. You have a good job or something? A nice house? There must be something in it for her.
