Not to be picky, but it appears this guy is Brendan Hebert (with only one "r"). The only reason I mention this is because there was a Brenden Herbert who ran from nearby Westwood High a few years back, and I am sure he doesn't want to get caught up in this (lol).

Sure you can. Texas UIL puts this on. I would have more trust in a Chic-Fil-A staff after a 1 hour presentation on "How to hold a XC meet" than the UIL fools.

He went in with his old lake travis singlet and used an old xc bib because they were not checking bibs at the entry. He illegally snuck into the race to prove something, only to be absolutely smoked by Kevin. Multiple people recognized him during the race and knew that smthn was up.
Maybe he had been planning to do his hard workout / Time trial this morning (thinking that the races were tomorrow). Then, after being kind of annoyed with all the hullabaloo going on, he figured if anyone was encroaching, it was the other 100 runners who were horning in on his workout?

I wonder what, if anything, will come of it? Of course, it's super embarrassing for the UIL. I'm sure they are conflicted because they most certainly want to make him pay, but at the same time, I bet they would like as few of people know about this as possible.
No Context XC & Track had a post on IG about this but it looks like it was taken down. Literally no idea what the thinking behind this is but it's insane both that he would do this and that he got into the race at all.
