Hey all -- Seeking advice.
I broke my rib about 3 weeks ago and obviously been off running. I've been told it's a 2-6 week recovery plan and entering week 3 today. I'm planning to see an orthopedist this week to discuss rehab but other than that have really just been resting. I broke my rib coughing while trying to run through a COVID bout.
I've been incredibly short of breath even walking up stairs but the pain seems to be getting slightly better every day.
Question for anyone who's been here before. How long did it take you from your initial break to getting back to running "normally"? Seems like it's gonna take a while.
Also any other advice for speeding up recovery would be hugely welcomed.
