Once and for all, for those of you (POSE LEMMINGS) who perpetuate the stupendously imbecilic notion that gravity "pulls you forward" while running: this is FALSE! The proposition undermines the most fundamental laws (not theories) of physics, and anyone who endorses it is completely ignorant and totally unqualified to analyze or give advice on running mechanics. It's absolutely disgraceful and irresponsible for someone to POSE as an expert on mechanics in the absence of any familiarity whatsoever with basic f***ing laws of motion.
I'll say it one more time: YOU CANNOT FALL FORWARD! The only direction that you can fall in is straight toward the Earth's center of mass (DOWN). Any and all energy that produces forward movement of your body during running comes from sources other than gravity- principally, the ground. The ground produces a force against your support leg that PROPELS your body forward. In the absence of contact with the ground, your body accelerates straight downward (even if you are moving away from the ground). Therefore, the Pose theory of running is INCORRECT. THE END!
