my doctor tells me to eat high fibre for gut health, but it seems that my excretions are particularly foul when running.

my poor girlfriend has to leave the room when I’m on the treadmill.

do you have any recommendations?

That’s gastrointestinal doping, getting a rocket propulsion boost 🏃💨 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️by suffocating others is an unfair advantage.

You know… that’s definitely true.

I guess I’m just sensitive. I feel embarrassed when I can see people plugging their nose, or laughing when there’s a particularly bad “ripper”

Races are disgusting stinky places. Sweaty gross runners. People who obviously didn't shower or even apply deodorant that morning. People cracking rats. Porta Potties.

Don't worry about it, you won't stand out

talk to doctor if this is the standard mode for your gut. Breaking wind like this is not only bad in terms of odor, it can be very alarming to you (and even those aroubd you). A dietary fix could fix it all very easy

Sure. I like to call them the sweats. no one seems to notice that. so it doesn’t bother me. It’ll happen when there’s a large movement out the back door. doesn’t bother me. we’re just talking a dribble here and there

You can buy special underwear that traps smells.

If you're running outside I don't see how the smell is a big issue. Surely it will just be taken away by the wind?

No sweat brother. This is an easy fix. I’ve crapped myself on runs thinking I was passing gas. Sometimes it can even be a cause for humour. Don’t give it a second thought man.

You need to work on your nutrition.
