She’s not going to win. There’s still 10 mi to go and she’s going to blow up.

its possible, but she looks great right now. 9 miles now. haug is like 6 minutes back. LCB over 4 minutes. it would def take a blow up.

Announcer curse - guy just said it is done and Sodaro has it.
nothing is certain at Kona, but this does seem like a lock. she could almost just walk it home at this point anyway.

Yeah, she's in total control. You can see it in her stride and in how she is using the feed zones to refuel at her own leisure. She knows how much time she has in the pocket and she'll protect it.
The main announcer is just the worst. He's so annoying. Like a salesman.
just a race for second now. great race. wouldve been happy to see an american on the podium, but no one saw a dominant win coming.

Hoka on her kit but ASICS on her feet
She is my first cousin, never been more nervous watching somebody race. Great job Chelsea!!!
33yo and shes a mom of an 18month old. Pretty amazing to win by 7:50 and was just pregnant 18months ago.
I joke with my wife that having a baby is natural doping. The amount of hormones and strengthening that happens due to a baby is supernatural.
It was an incredible run by Sodaro. When passed Lucy on the run, it seems everyone expected her to eventually fade, but she just kept increasing her lead to the end. Such a strong run in a hot humid Ironman.
I noticed she made good use of the aid stations. Putting ice down her suit and even filling her cap.
This aged well.
Awesome run by Chelsea! Wasn't a fan at first of splitting the days up but it was nice being able to enjoy just the women's race and Saturday it can be all eyes on the men's event.
