Crappy? Fiona O'Keeffe has become one of the best road runners in the US. She ran a 67:xx half (US #5 all-time), 51:xx for ten miles (US #2 all-time), and even a 15:05 on the track (a 30-second improvement from college). Just because Werner has been mediocre doesn't mean the group is a failure.
Says she is going to give road racing a try. More power to her. She had a great career on the track. Will be interesting to see how she fares at the longer distances on the roads. She's still under 40, so Puma is a good brand choice (although I am not sure if Jason is younger than her).

I'm sure that's a huge boost to Puma's US market. It surely is heartening that they have a runner seeing decent success, but placing zero group members on a US team in the past couple years is the current group report. If the shoe-buying public can't see your athletes in high profile situations, they're going to remain just as unaware of your brand and product.

I think it is incredible more brands are starting to dip their feet into the running market. On, Puma, and NB could help grow the sport significantly. NB and On clearly doing a lot for the sport already but our sport has for so long been dominated by Nike and Adidas.

Puma actually has many of the very biggest stars in track and field: Duplantis, Warholm, Emmanuel Korir, Barshim and Tamberi, Thompson-Herah, Shericka Jackson, Mahuchikh. Americans Sandi Morris and JuVaughn Harrison. Also, Bolt may be retired, but he has a lifetime contract with Puma. Yesh, short on distance runners though.
