We do not know a thing about Wiley's decision or her knowledge of what happened at Huntington U. She should be left out of the conversation and her intentions not speculated about at this point.

No, we know because Addy said it herself. She said in an interview that she wanted to run for Lauren Johnson because she helped her broke the 1600m record and ran well at junior Worlds, she added that she only achieved such results with Johnson and want to work with her for the rest of her college career.

What a giant load. People aren't allowed to speculate until there is more information? Generally, the information comes out because of the speculation.

It seems like Colorado lacked something she needed and that Huntington and their coaching staff could provide and has been providing through the years?

Why would a middle distance runner pass the opportunity to run for Colorado? Their milers have won the Mile title for the past 2 years and they have been successful at developing middle distance runners.

Its just a bizarre decision that is now making sense after former athletes filled lawsuit and revealed doping culture as well as abuse.

Well using your same assumptive logic her coach must have been having sex with the athletes too because she had access to the same athletes as her husband. I was addressing your thread title. If she was doping her athletes then why didn't the women filing suit name her as the one administering the alleged PED(still no proof of PED doping)? They only mention the husband. As far as:

You will find dozens and dozens of instances and reasons addressing this very question. Sometimes its as simple as a small hometown girl wants to stay home. Read the civil suit. This is the exact reason one of the accusers/victims transferred to this school, even though she had bigger opportunities elsewhere.

I am saying that we should not assume that an 18 year old girl had knowledge of any alleged doping or other alleged sketchy behaviors being attributed to the Johnsons. If what the Star reports is true regarding manipulative behavior, it is also very possible that Wiley is a victim in this whole sordid affair. Lord only knows what might have been communicated or potentially threatened by certain parties after she announced her commitment to Colorado. I feel it best that we leave Ms. Wiley out of this for now. She's just a kid/young adult, not some pro that knowingly worked with well-known dubious figures.

an inconvenient fact is that doping exists at every age. It exists in high school college and the pro level.

Assuming this is true, multiple people need to face time behind bars. This University needs to be discredited as well.

I agree that addy could be a victim and should be left out of the vitriol but these allegations do seem to provide logical answers to a lot of questions people had over her sudden transfer. She was very specific about Lauren coaching her being the reason for the transfer.
