Isn't she otherwise unemployed? I don't know if talking smack and writing is such a bad gig. I mean, are you going to say Grisham or King are beating a dead horse if they write and attempt to sell yet another book?
I guess Oprah turned down an interview. Seriously though what will be revealed in the book as Alberto’s “deep dark secrets?” He wanted world class runners to lose weight and pushed the limits on supplements? Anyone who wastes their money on this is an idiot.
For whatever reason, letsrun is convinced that Kara is one of the good guys. I guess everybody forgot that the Gouchers are the ones who introduced Salazar to Brown.
And she still hasn't admitted to any wrongdoing. So I am actually quite curious what she wrote about doping at NOP and or BTC, noting it's explicitly mentioned in the title
"Inside the Secret World of Abuse, Doping, and Deception on Nike's Elite Running Team".
I agree she's beating a dead horse on the Alberto stuff. But I disagree with your assessment of her TV broadcasting. I think she's excellent in the broadcast booth and clearly knows her stuff. If anything I hope this new book doesn't turn off NBC from continuing to hire her.
She is unlistenable so I am sure she is unreadable but she was a pretty good runner thanks partly to Alberto.

I like her. When everyone was silently taking the drugs and a use from Al Sal she said enough and went public. I'll buy the book. I'm buying Fleshman's too.
She's still profiting off Nike & Salazar. Ok. What's your point? Are we supposed to feel sorry for them?
And anyway she's not, she's profiting off herself. Her own efforts, own risks (e.g. choosing to speak up which more of than not is not "profitable" at all).

But did she? Salazar provided emails of Goucher begging him to stay with NOP. I can't stand Sleazy Salazar, but her story doesn't stack up either.
