Now if Rojo, flagpole, or BananaBread were on cameo, that might be worth $21.

The Cameo bio says she is pursuing a career as a professional athlete. So what does that look like for her? Which company picks her up, or is she going to try to run races unsponsored while shililng on social media?
We laugh at influencers, but it take a lot of work to do it well. You have to post daily content, have a unique hook, etc. Cute runnergirl only goes so far.
Meanwhile, it appears Micaela Degenero, who actually won an NCAA title, is working as a software engineeer. Good for her.
Is Shelby available for a custom message? I can think of some fun scripts for her to say....
Emma Coburn is on there too. Just sayin'

1. Carl Lewis
2. Cole Hocker
3. Cooper Teare
4. Emily Infeld
5. Mo Farah
6. Nick Symmonds
7. Fred Kerley
8. Matthew Boling
Well. Based on who is in this list I'd say Cooper probably suggested she give it a try. It's easy money. Even if from an outsiders perspective itseems cringe. She has 20k+ followers on Instagram so I'm sure someone would pay. Who cares, track athletes no matter how skilled are underpaid as it is.

Emma has actually achieved tremendously in her sport. I cut her some slack here.
It sure is interesting to see how worked up men get at the idea of a woman being both hot and on the internet. Seriously, why does Rachel upset you so much? What about her provokes such strong feelings of disdain and derision? You should probably do some self-reflection on that.
Is it that you think she doesn't "deserve" the amount of attention she gets (IG followers, likes) based on her racing performances? Anyone who follows the sport knows that there isn't a smooth, linear relationship between athletic performance and notoriety or mainstream attention. That's a played-out conversation, and it's not a phenomenon that either Rachel or angry message board posters have the ability to influence.
Is it that you think having public social media accounts, looking good in photos, or joining an app where people can get famous/notable/niche public figures to send happy birthday messages to friends are inherently character flaws? Why? Rachel seems to share exactly as much of her life as she wants to online, just like many people do. You're free to view her content or not.
...or is it that you're jealous that a hot girl is getting attention, and it makes you feel inadequate about your own lack of notoriety and/or the appearance of the girls (or lack of) giving you attention? Seriously, so many comments about Rachel seem to boil down to "a hot girl is existing online, and that makes me mad." Pull it together, guys. I've never met Rachel, and can't speak to her character or personality, but her joining Cameo or being hot is not hurting you or anyone else.

I think Rachel McArthur was born with many gifts including facial symmetry and distance running. She should cash-in on those many gifts.
