I'd say that the money available to professional runners has been so small compared to other professional sports and nowhere near as deep.

Clayton Murphy. I realize he has an Olympic bronze, but I thought it would be so much more. I thought he was going to be the American version of Coe.

Stinson. Bro hyped himself up as the next rupp. Also Hunter and Potato Tim. Only saying tim because he is WAY too good to never win an olympic gold, and it looks like he never will. He is such a classy guy too, I hope he somehow does win one.
