Troutner and Bons not run? Looks like Garnica is struggling some. All those guys at full strength would add even a lot more depth on BYU's team.
i did not have byu on my bingo card to win the nationals but now they are

I’ll bet you wear a Yankees hat during baseball season, huh?
They just had to get rid of their leader Old Mantz for the rest of the team to reach their true potential
byu had to finish fast in order to make the Early Bird Special and watch Golden Girls.

Big if true

You should seek professional help!
Great run by BYU, but realistically they at best they are a fringe podium team at Nationals when all teams run their varsity squads
Ok State - add Rodriguez and Foster and they beat BYU by 30+ points
Stanford - add Robinson to the lineup and they beat BYU by 20+ points
NAU - add Hasty and Quax and they beat BYU as well despite Kusch having a really poor race
If Garnica shows up that could be a factor.
Results here:

Peaked too soon
What is this Hillbilly Goat Rope you talking about? Does it involve animal or sibling loving? Banjoes? Liberal use of the word 'Yeehaw'? Special underpants perhaps?
Nico Young is not a dominant runner of our time. Figure he'd be better by now under Smith.
Most importantly, Princeton beats Harvard again!

Based on the Dave Smith comments earlier this week, sounds like one of those two OKST guys may not be running this season.
With Ky Robinson, Stanford would be 50 points better and score about 50. OSU should hope they have Rodriguez, because that would make them very strong up front with Maier running this well but with one of the two guys lost, they need others to step up. BYU has major depth. They will have to pretty much all be top 20 guys because they don't look to have really low sticks. NAU's Quax and Hastey usually beat Raff, who was very good in 19th. If they did that, you'd supplant 38/39 with, say, 17-18, and that gets you down below 70. Now, what they really need to win a national championship is to get a top ten freshman in there at nationals. Virginia ran at least three frosh and they all ran well. I imagine that by November, Mike Smith won't have a problem with running Sahlman either.
I do not think Nico has won in any event since high school. His 4th place at NCAA's as a freshman looked promising You are correct. He should be winning races.
