There were some super results in this meet last night in Switzerland.
100 - Carnes beats Omanyala 10.04. De Grasse 8th 10.37 (?).
Van Niekerk wins the 400 - 44.33, beating K.James 44.38.
Dos Santos, dominates the 400 m hurdles with 47.61, winning by approximately 1.5 seconds.
Super deep 3000, with Lobalu (7:38.16) dragging eight other runners under 7:50. Good run by American Hunter, 7:50.

In retrospect, some people will consider Hunter’s run (7:49.90) as not so good for a man with impressive personal bests such as 3:34.86, 7:39.85, 13:17.55. However, it has been a very long season and one has to respect these track athletes (Hunter among others ) still running fast times in mid September. Difficult to hold a peak for so many months. I think these monsters deserve a well merited rest at this time.
Lobalu has had a monster season. This has to be one of the last significant track meets of the season.
2nd place Michael Kiplangat Temoi and 3rd place Abdisa Fayisa (7:38/7:39) were national Jr. champs for their respective countries this year and are both just 17 years old.
