A) $0 - $100K
B) $100 - $250K
C) $250K - $500K
D) $500K +
I would go with B as my answer.

Are you accusing him of printing counterfeit money in his garage?
A
D. Nike contracts are heavy on incentives so hes raking it in with 4 ARs and a US title.
With all the bonuses he likely hit this year I would say at least C and possibly just over D.
I am going with C, but close to D. I recall that the letsrun experts estimated Rupp to earn 750,000 back then - Fisher should get there in 1 - 2 years.
E
It’s 2022.
After the year Fisher has had and his future potential, Nike better be paying him seven figures soon or On will.
98% of the US doesn't know who Grant Fisher is.
Hes not selling shoes for them.
Why should Nike or anyone else pay him more than hes worth to them?
I think his Nike contract only provides him with shoes, singlet and - nothing else. Just those two things.
Less than $120k. Laughing at D
No. Fisher's base contract is likely at least $120k. With 4 ARs, a US championship win, and top world championships finishes, he likely made many multiples of that. Do you really think a guy with a Stanford engineering degree would settle for $120k as the MAX salary he could make? What do you think his base salary is?
6 years ago Berian was offered $125K base, $50K for each American record in an Olympic event, $10k for each indoor record, and $15-$20k for time bonuses. I'm betting prices have gone up and Fisher is high in the C category at least.
Bear in mind all figures are paid to him in Canadian dollars. You know, because he's Canadian. Am I doing this right?
He’s in upper C.
You have no idea what you are talking about. There are far less impressive runners making well north of 200-250K. I do not think you could begin to imagine what Grant Fisher is making. A proven American, he is doing well and I would assume with 95%+ certainty that he is making north of 500k.

Being a professional distance runner kind of sucks. Imagine being one of the all-time best runners in the United States and making about as much as a mediocre nephrologist. And that nephrologist can have a career making that much money for like 50 years.
Couldn't really even guess without knowing the timing of bonus payments. He presumably earned a bonus by setting the AR, for example, but whether that money has actually changed hands at this point is unknown.
Would the AR bonuses be the same if he broke them by 1 second or 7? Like maybe an extra extra 20k if he was the first American under 12:50?
By your calculations then 7 million do.
His picture in the running world and US running world is everywhere - yes he is selling shoes and a whole lot more with his image and personal appeal.
Nike, On, New Balance - yes NB will soon realize athletes includes men and will pay big for a guy like Grant. On is coached by a guy who Grant has idolized and they live far removed from Eugene OR.
Nordas running 3:34 with one shoe is proof that supershoes don’t work
American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
