McColgan looking good just under halfway, running with a group of male club runners. Farah just over halfway and off the back of the lead group. He looked strong but seems to be struggling. Run ING with Butchart, Smith, and Rowe

Pace has slowed but Farah looking better now leading the group. Probably around 62 minute pace
Mile 10 and Farah puts the hammer down. McColgan well clear, basically in a different race to the rest of the women
McColgan dropped all the club runner men who thought they could hang with her
She's on 67 pace
Jack Rowe closing hard... Farah should hold.it
61:48 for Mo, Rowe 62:04(?), Smith 62:10
McColgan 67:34 ftw
Purdue 70:13 for second, Harrison a few seconds behind
Nice run from Mo.
By far his best performance since Brussels in 2020.
Would have been nicer to see Jakob smoke him
You're definitely forgetting his 1:00:27 half marathon just 8 days after his one hour run. In fact I think his 27:47 last year might have even been better than this performance 1:01:48 isn't exactly impressive nowadays.

Wrong. That course was short.
I think this performance is worth far more than the Antrim result.
It is not hugely impressive, but based on Mo's last two years and the course he ran on, this was a good result.
It was a comfortable win. The time was nothing to write home about, but it suggests he's in shape and could run a decent marathon in London, hopefully sub-2:09. If he does that, we might even see him at one more Olympics.
On the positive side, when he made a hard move in the 11th mile, it was decisive. Best he's looked for a while on a course that isn't renowned for being fast - the record is only 60:20 (Bekele, 2020)
they're all crap and bekele wasn't trying
What's up with that race? is it just a club runner event? the top 10 are all GB athletes both men and women? or a shtity course with no prize money?
Pretty lazy results for Mo but if all you have to do is beat some also-rans then I get it.
It's a London Marathon Events race but I guess they put almost all of their money into the actual marathon. There's always a field of British elites, very rarely any international runners. It's usually used as a tune-up race for people training for the London Marathon but it's expensive (around £50) which is more than the marathon itself. There's probably only room for one big HM in the British calendar and that will always be the Great North Run which this year has Cheptegei, Barega, Kiplimo, and Bekele.
don't know where farah got the new gb kit from... has he made a team since it went to this design?
appearance $$$$$

I was impressed. He looked comfortable all the way. Moved around at will. Took drinks. Took command and breezed in. Mo style!
