Just had to use an ip address different from the san antonio university that i coach at in order to post.
We have a race in canyon texas in a couple months before nats. Its at 4k altitude, so hopefully my boys wont be suckin in air like we were in alb a couple months back at camp.

You appear to be conflating VO2Max with aerobic strength, but it’s only half the equation, eg Kipchoge is known to have a VO2Max in the 70s by most estimates, which is great but hardly exceptional among elite athletes.
